 Andrea is a native Charlestonian living in Folly Beach, South Carolina with her daughters, Leslie, Lindsey, and Millie. She is a freelance writer for various publications including JAKES magazine, The Folly Beach News, and The Sandspur. Ms. Weathers enjoys writing, oil painting, beachcombing, sailing, jet skiing, snow skiing, the shag dance, and reading. She is an exhibiting member of Islands Art Gallery and a Licensed Realtor with Carolina One Real Estate.

 Bob is an artist from Charleston, South Carolina. His family has been in the Lowcountry for many generations. Mr. Thames lives in Charleston with his wife, Karen, and daughter, Amy.

EDUCATORS:Hermy the Hermit Crab Goes Shopping© is included in the Social Studies Program, Grade 3 South Carolina Pupil's Edition textbook published by Harcourt School Publishers.  I enjoy speaking and reading to students K through 6th grade.  Each presentation is 45 minutes.
